Scope or the Work:
Setting up this site magazine style was the layout goal. Visually dynamic image galleries with a balance of text and information. The site is mobile responsive and easy for the clients to update.
So much in architecture depends on the right fit. The way the design fits the landscape. The way the building fits the use. And the way a room fits the people who live in it.
Getting the right fit takes a rare combination of consultation and vision.
At Swallowtail, we really listen to our clients. And ask questions. And listen some more. It’s vital in getting the details exactly right. Because a great building is about the details and the nuance. From the way the windows face the view, to the framing around the doorways.
Swallowtail’s two principals fit equally seamlessly. Both are rigorous to a fault with detail. And they are capable of brilliance in their ability to solve problems creatively.
The name Swallowtail is inspired by the classic swallowtail joint, a precise and beautiful coming together of two pieces of wood. It’s a kind of perfect fit.
Exactly the kind of fit you want with your architects.
